Sarasota real estate ultimately attracted me with its unique neighborhoods.  My most significant core values include honesty, integrity, and compassion, which all stem from the importance of a solid moral compass.

Originally from Oregon, I grew up in frosty New England and spent many years in the Hudson River Valley region of upstate New York. Sarasota is now home, as nothing beats the natural beauty the Suncoast offers. I am a proud father of an extraordinary 20-year-old daughter, Alexis, who will soon enter her junior year in college. My parents, Barbara and Bruce, also reside in Sarasota and own an antique business.

I chose a real estate path because several years ago, the head of a moderate-sized real estate firm in Hudson Valley was highly complimentary of my approach to sales and planted the initial seed. Before real estate, I spent the last ten years in IT and customer care, including quality assurance, fraud monitoring, e-commerce/web design, and social media. Additionally, I was involved in the antique and fine art business for many years in the tri-state New York region. With a background in the antique business, architecture has always fascinated me.

Among the best qualities I have learned from my previous positions are attention to detail, big or small, which are incredibly important to all interactions. The biggest, however, is that significant purchases such as a home are often an emotional experience, and I will support you through every aspect of the process. I believe what makes a successful real estate experience is being thoroughly attentive to the buyer’s needs and being able to assist with all aspects that may impact their home sale or purchase, from the initial search to keys in hand, and maintaining a great relationship following that. I look forward to working with first-time buyers and guiding them through such a significant period of their lives.

I love living on the Suncoast, where I have a chance to meet friendly people who appreciate Sarasota’s beauty every day. A sunset walk on the beach, breathing in the fresh ocean air, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My favorite hobbies include: spending time on the water, swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. I am also a big film & history buff and love to explore the area. As a new agent in real estate, I’m most excited about developing detailed knowledge of the Sarasota market, seeing the trends that will continue to shape the area, and providing unmatched service!
